Saturday was a low key day for us. I didn’t do any homework this weekend which was awesome and we enjoyed pool time, bike rides, the park, time with friends,a nap, along with some not so fun stuff like laundry. But the grunt work must go on.
This picture is crazy. Isaac is 2 (almost three) and looks almost as big as my 6 1/2 year old.
Sunday Matt and I were able to get away for the day and spend some time celebrating our 12 year anniversary (Thanks to good friends watching out little munchkins). It was our first date in a month so that was refreshing but it’s also fun to reminisce about the last 12 years. I’m so thankful that the Lord blessed me with such a steady, amazing, Godly man. We’ve traveled far distances together, walked through heartache together, celebrated many blessings together, have two amazing kids and I look forward to MANY more years of togetherness (Lord willing).
Here are some pictures of our day yesterday. I made him take a picture with me in all the locations we went. I think it’s fun, he puts up with me. I told you, he’s a good man. The day ended with a Rockies game with the Summer Project and one of my roommates from college joined us too because she lives near by. It was so fun to add lots of friends to our day.
I’m sure my hubby won’t like that I put two pictures of him in here but hey, it’s my blog and I get to pick the photos. I sure like him. Cheers to 12 years!
