Well we made it to Tahoe. The road trip was great until Jenna threw up twice in the car for what seems like no apparent reason. We had been in the car maybe 10 min of our second travel day when out of no where she’s vomiting. About 20 minutes later we have another fun episode and an hour and a half later she had In-n-Out Burger for lunch and was good to go. That’s my girl!
Upon arriving in Tahoe it’s snowing and freezing but we had to go see the beach. It was a quick 5 min trip and of course I took a picture.
Today we woke up to a few inches of snow which I think God did just for my sweet daughter because she LOVES the snow. I want sunbathing weather but to see the delight on her face is worth me wearing all the warm clothes I brought all at once. We them walked across to the camp to check it out and of course build a snowman. Never done that before on summer project. This is where memories are made. When Jenna could no longer feel her fingers (because her mom didn’t pack snow gear for SUMMER project) we headed back inside.
An hour later Jenna asked to go swimming. I think not.
So, hear we are. I’m typing this on my iPhone because we don’t have Internet in the apartment (the same apartment Matt and I stayed in 8 years ago) and the adventure of another summer project is beginning. Can’t wait to see what else God has in store.
Glad you guys made it there! I can’t believe there is snow on the ground. Tahoe is supposed to be warm and sunny!
