Traditions

I grew up with many traditions in my family and my family loved to celebrate all the holidays. My mom decorated for every holiday while we were growing up. Since getting married Matt and I have talked about what traditions we want to have in our family and since having a child that has been even more important. One of the traditions we started for Christmas was reading an Advent book. It made our Christmas so much more meaningful and Jenna loved it. This week I made a set of Resurrection Eggs for Jenna so that Easter is not just about coloring eggs and getting an Easter basket, although we love doing those things. So, I’m curious. What traditions do you have in your family? Is there something that makes the holidays more meaningful to you? Please share, I love to steal ideas 🙂
