Hey there,

I'm Jody. 👋  I’ve been married for 24 years and my husband is truly my favorite person. I’m a mom to two teens—one still in high school and one off to college. I’m a Pacific Northwest native and absolutely love living in Portland. My faith? It’s messy, but very much a part of my life. I strive to live intentionally, I’m very empathetic and also a bit feisty.

I am happiest at the beach in the sun with people I love and I am deeply drawn to the beauty of nature. I am passionate about social justice and believe strongly all humans are worthy of love and made in the image of God.

I grew up in rural Oregon and now live in the city. I’ve lived in Montana and travelled the world. Experiencing other cultures has always been a joy to me.

My husband and I now share an office in our 100 year old craftsman bungalow with 2 cats to keep us company as the kids are at school. We LOVE investing in people and making the place we live better and we've got even bigger dreams of changing more lives.

I love walking alongside and guiding others to become the healthiest version of themselves. I absolutely believe that we all have a story worth sharing and we are made for community and wholeness.

I graduated with an Associates Degree in Business and then went on to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development in Family Sciences at Oregon State University.

Instead of pursing either of those degrees after a short stint in Social Work my husband and I went into full time ministry with college students for 11 yers and then post grads for 5 years.

Almost 10 years ago, after finding restored health with Plexus I decided to switch gears and help people with their health and pursue that business which also allowed me to lead teams and continue developing leaders. That has been an incredible journey for the past almost 10 years, allowing me to work on my own terms, help others and given us opportunities we never would have had otherwise.

After the pandemic I was certified in mental health coaching and have continued to see the need for support in grief and loss so I went on to be certified as a Grief Recovery Specialist with the Grief Recovery Institute. From a young age I experienced a lot of death of family and friends, health struggles, close family members dealing with addiction, infertility, pregnancy loss, adoption, severe scoliosis treatment with a child, loss of trust in others and church, and unhealthy relationships. Those losses have shaped who I am and given me the ability to sit with others in their times of grief and loss as well.

Two things I know to be true, if you are not taking care of your health it influences every area of your life. And second, we all experience grief and loss, it’s a universal experience. Unfortunately navigating through grief and loss is rarely done well in our culture which leads to more difficulty in relationships, our ability to enjoy life and even impacts our health. Having the tools to do these well is a must.

Helping people navigate these things is a passion of mine. Seeing lives transformed never grows old. I’d love to help you journey through these things too.

So stick around and have a conversation. Maybe this is your chance to change the trajectory of your life!
